Jason began his career in infrastructure management, working for the Department of Main Roads from 1988-1993. Moving to New South Wales, he took on the role of Contract Project Manager for a wide selection of firms. Securing a position with globally-recognised Sinclair Knight Merz in 1997, Jason held a key position within their Facilities Management Group. Jason subsequently moved into a project management and business development role in 2001, within the construction industry and returned to the affordable housing industry in the capacity of strategic asset management, and affordable housing planning. Continuing with his work in the housing sector, Jason has held key positions in a number of housing providers including CEO of Horizon Housing, Queensland’s largest housing provider.
Jason represented Queensland on the Australasian Housing Institute’s Board of Directors from 2010 to 2013. In that professional role and many others alike, Jason has further contributed to the provision of professional development, networking and recognition within the Australian housing sector. Jason’s ongoing commitment to the Not For Profit Sector earned him a place in Pro Bono’s 25 Most Influential People 2014. Jason is a Graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
